Erasmus Traineeship Abroad also During the Epidemic

DOBA Business School is aware that living abroad is a priceless opportunity that gives students a different view of the world and broadens their intellectual horizons. This is why we encourage student mobility in various forms, as the knowledge and experience gained help them in their studies and later during their employment.

After her first successful Erasmus mobility, Violeta Grbić, DOBA Business School student, decided to join Erasmus mobility once again. This mobility has also taken place under the constraints of the COVID-19 epidemic, but the student has nevertheless taken away a wealth of new knowledge and experience.

Here are some of her impressions:

“I worked from three to five days a week. After a week of workplace orientation, I got involved in the preparation of the development strategy, the long-term marketing policy, the plan to introduce innovative solutions, and the review of the 2021 marketing plan. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, my traineeship was quite different than it would have otherwise been the case. I met my colleagues on the first day of Erasmus training, at company headquarters in the centre of Prague. For the first two weeks, I worked at company headquarters and then work “moved” online. We held meetings with potential customers at the headquarters of the company and presented our museum. I did a part of the administrative work, i.e. keeping records of the current month budget, taking phone calls in the absence of staff, sending emails, and searching for potential customers, from home, from my computer.”
