Today’s world is becoming increasingly complex, we are witnessing constant changes that increase the need for psychological skills and for appropriately trained psychologists, for experts who can answer questions related to human behaviour, who can solve professional challenges and at the same time understand the relationships between customers, between employees and between competitors.



The interdisciplinary bachelor programme in Applied Psychology will give you the relevant skills and competencies to optimally meet these demands. You will learn how to successfully apply scientific findings and basic and applied psychological skills to your professional and personal development.

Applied knowledge

You will learn about the fields of applied psychology and how they are applied in practice. You will gain knowledge in geriatric, sports, human resources, organisational, clinical psychology, etc.
Cognitive skills

You will understand the fundamental laws of human thinking, emotion and behaviour and learn ways to enhance optimal functioning of individuals, groups and organisations.
Methodological skills

Methodological skills

You will acquire competencies in statistics, research methodology and basic psychometrics, which are the basis for interpreting, designing and conducting basic psychological studies.

Graduates and career

When you complete the bachelor programme in Applied Psychology, you will be awarded the professional title of diplomirani psiholog /Bachelor of Psychology/; however, the degree will not qualify you for independent practice in the psychological profession (this qualification will be obtained after you have completed the master’s programme). After graduation, you will be able to work in companies in human resources, marketing, intergenerational centres, non-governmental organisations, retirement homes, etc. You will also be able to continue your studies in relevant master’s programmes for which you will be eligible to enrol as a graduate of psychology, including the master’s programme in Psychology offered by DOBA Business School.
