Steps of online learning

Preparing for the study

Online learning at DOBA Business School starts with a study preparation course, which allows you to learn about the methods and techniques of effective online learning and familiarises you with the different forms of study activities in the courses.

From course to course

In online learning, students take one course at a time. For each course, you receive weekly instructions for the course activities. Students are expected to be active during their studies and to observe the deadlines.

Active and collaborative learning

You will work closely with experienced teachers and your colleagues. You will develop your knowledge and competencies through active study of the literature, case study analyses, online discussions, presentations, simulations, online tests, and discussions at live webinars.

Continuous assessment

In order to be successful in your studies, you have to be active. Continuous learning is required and you need to complete and submit your assignments on time. The teachers provide feedback, directing and gradually leading you towards your goals, knowledge, and competencies from the course. The teacher regularly checks and assesses the weekly assignments and at the end of the course, these form the final grade.

Support at every step

In addition to the teachers, extra pedagogical support is provided by the online tutor, a practising expert. Your personal academic advisor makes sure that your study path is smooth from day one and guides you in all the procedures and through all the rules of the school. The staff at the Student Affairs Office provide the necessary administrative support and out IT team helps you with challenges of modern technologies.

Accessibility of the learning environment and resources

You can access study information and materials in the virtual learning environment anywhere, anytime, 24/7. All live lectures and seminars are recorded and available for students to watch when convenient. The learning environment also offers access to the e-library with databases of articles, access to e-books, e-journals, etc.
