12th International Scientific Conference

DOBA Business School is proudly organising 12th International scientific conference on the highly relevant topic of Psychology in Business World. The Conference will take place at DOBA Business School in Maribor, Slovenia.  

The central theme of the conference will focus on the reflections of renowned speakers on the role of psychology in understanding human behaviour in a business context. Psychology offers insights into motivation, emotions, decision-making, and communication and their impact on the success of individuals and organisations.

The conference will explore five key topics that reflect the relevance of psychological knowledge in the business world.

1. Positive psychology in business, education, and social sector 

2. Coaching psychology in business

3. Leadership and development of leadership skills

4. Financial psychology, behavioural economics and consumer behaviour 

5. Facilitating innovation and creativity in organisations

Psychology can help companies understand why people behave the way they do. It offers insights into human behaviour and how it affects the success of individuals and organisations. The key areas include positive psychology, coaching psychology, leadership, and the role of psychology in business. Understanding these factors in the business world can help companies to improve organisational climate and employee satisfaction. This includes understanding motivation, emotions, decision-making, communication, and other aspects of human behaviour that can affect work processes, team dynamics, and relationships. This is reflected in the five topics selected for the conference. We also encourage contributions from postgraduate and PhD students.
