The Online Summit 2026, held at the end of March, brought together top experts who, over four evenings of free lectures, illuminated the challenges and key forces of our time.
Higher education lecturer Dr Anton Vorina and student Katarina Zver Belovič participated in the International Scientific Conference EMAN 2026 at the University of Oxford, where they presented a paper on quality and safety in healthcare through empathy.
Dr Miha Lavrič, a professor at DOBA UAS, and graduate Katarina Prelesnik will take part in the professional section of the KIK Conference 2026. They will present reflections on AI, digital competences and the importance of the human factor.
At the "NAKVIS Day", DOBA received a certificate of successfully completed external evaluation, confirming the high standards of quality in education, organisation and operations, and strengthening the trust of students, partners and the public.
Jasna Dominko Baloh, Director of the DOBA Business Group, received a special award for her significant contribution to the development of the economy, education, entrepreneurship and the connection of the business environment in the region.
