DOBA Faculty is an active member of the international association Businet, which every year organizes the traditional Spring Workshop – a virtual meeting of the network’s working groups aimed at the exchange of good practices, cooperation, and the development of new initiatives in the field of higher education.
The opening meeting was marked by a lecture by Boris Ney from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences entitled “From Ecodesign to Cognitive Sustainability – How to Evoke Resilient Learning Behaviour in Students.” In his contribution, he highlighted the importance of a sustainable approach to learning and the development of resilient and adaptable learning behaviour among students.
Over the following two weeks, meetings of individual working groups took place, including the Internationalisation@Home working group, co-chaired by Nina Turčin from DOBA Faculty and Sven Cerulus from UCLL (Belgium). This meeting focused on a discussion of the European Degree Label initiative and micro-initiatives of internationalisation at home, which enable students to acquire international competencies even without physical mobility.
Participation in the Businet network enables DOBA Faculty to actively co-create contemporary approaches in the international higher education environment and to strengthen cooperation with partner institutions across Europe.
