What Will the Student Profile Look Like in the Future?
The education in the post-digital world – teaching, learning, and assessment is increasingly relying on digital technologies that offer greater accessibility and flexibility of place and way it happens. Since 2022, generative artificial intelligence has been infiltrating everyday life, disrupting and enhancing education. So, what and how should we enable students to learn and prepare for their working life? First of all, we need immediate actions that would reflect on today’s students, not just on future students. Secondly, we need to find the balance between leveraging AI and digital technologies to enhance learning while ensuring that education remains fundamentally human-centred. We need to teach our students to be lifelong learners, ready to adapt, learn, unlearn, and relearn in the uncertain times and spaces we are facing, so they can work and live to reach their full potential.
