Together with International Partners, We Strengthen Knowledge, Innovation, and Cooperation in the Region

Our colleague Mateja Geder, head of the international project SMART, will take part in the 12th REDETE Conference – Researching Economic Development and Entrepreneurship in Transition Economies, organised by the University of Banja Luka (BiH) on 11–12 September 2025, with her contribution SMART Innovation for Next Generation: From Campuses to Competitiveness through Regional Connection.

In the panel Smart Specialisation Strategies in the EUSAIR and Western Balkans Region, she will present how the SMART project contributes to:

• the development of smart specialisation and innovation ecosystems in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, and
• the promotion of regional cooperation through the SMART Knowledge Exchange Network.
