Second work stream of activities for the FinPower project comes to an end

FINPOWER – Empowering women in sustainable finance through micro learning, a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, has reached the end of the second work stream of activities coordinated by DOBA Business School.

As part of this work stream, we have developed curricula and skill cards for 6 financial literacy modules:

  • introduction to financial literacy,
  • income,
  • consumption,
  • savings,
  • borrowing, and
  • protection/security.

The curricula include important orientations with objectives, content and teaching methods to raise women’s awareness on sustainable financial literacy through micro learning. The skill cards for each module include a set of skills that women need to acquire to become financially literate.

At a working meeting in Porto, which was held on 12 and 13 September 2023, the project partners reviewed and updated the content of the curricula and skill cards, and defined the required characteristics of the Financial Academy, which will be the main outcome of the FinPower project.
