Online Summit 2026: Four Evenings of Reflection, Insights, and Inspiration on the Future

From 23 to 26 March 2026, the 8th Online Summit took place, bringing together top experts over four evenings of free lectures to address the challenges and key drivers of today's world. This year’s event offered an in-depth look at the rapidly changing reality. The lectures were held in two time slots – at 18:00 in Slovenian language and at 19:00 for the Croatian-speaking audience.

Four Lectures, One Vision

Four renowned experts held this year's lectures, each illuminating the key forces of our time from their respective fields:

• New Global Reality: Between Crises, Power and Uncertainty – Assoc. Prof. Dr Gorazd Justinek discussed shifts in geopolitical relations and the importance of understanding the global environment in Europe and for smaller countries like Slovenia.
• Leadership for a New Era: Consciousness, Responsibility, and Courage in Times of Change – Dr. h. c. Violeta Bulc spoke about a new approach to leadership that goes beyond control, emphasizing care, and the five intelligences for system evolution.
• The Psychology of Leadership: What Separates Successful Leaders from Unsuccessful Ones? – Assoc. Prof. Dr Marko Divjak highlighted psychological elements such as empathy and emotional intelligence, which decisively impact trust and effectiveness in teams.
• From Prompts to Agents: The Next Wave of Artificial Intelligence – Assoc. Prof. Dr Miha Lavrič presented the future of artificial intelligence evolving from a tool to an active “operator” and the importance of trust and management in this context.

Participation and Responses

The numbers confirm that the content was more than relevant, as the event attracted 1953 participants from 21 countries. More than half, 60%, joined the lectures in Slovenian, while the remaining participants attended in Croatian language. This confirms that the discussed topics are universal and crucial for the development of the entire Southeast European region.

Participant satisfaction remains our main measure; with an exceptional average rating of 4.9 on a 5-point scale, they confirmed that the content was not only timely but also excellently delivered. Participants highlighted that the content was 'meaningful and valuable,' 'effectively and clearly presented,' and that the lectures were 'inspiring and informative.'

The Online Summit 2026 fulfilled its goal: to offer a deep yet understandable insight into the challenges and opportunities of today’s world. With quality speakers, relevant topics covering geopolitics, leadership, psychology, and technology, and broad international participation, the event concludes as a true intellectual boost.
