Mediana Survey: DOBA Faculty Remains the First Choice for Employees

According to the latest survey conducted in June 2025 by the Slovenian Institute for Market and Media Research Mediana, DOBA Faculty once again confirms its leading position – it is the most recognisable faculty and the first choice for further education among employees aged 25 to 45.

The survey results show that employees clearly recognise the importance of up-to-date knowledge and skills for success in the labour market. At a time when companies are seeking employees with the latest expertise more than ever before, DOBA Faculty stands out as the institution offering modern, practice-oriented, and accessible study programmes. The option of online study remains one of the key reasons employees choose DOBA Faculty, as it provides flexibility, time savings, and the freedom to balance study with work and family life.

Key findings of the survey “Perception of Formal Education” (Mediana, June 2025, N=403):

• DOBA Faculty is the first choice for formal education among employees aged 25–45.

• It is also the most recognisable faculty in this age group (spontaneous recall).

• Most employees considering further studies would choose DOBA Faculty.

• 69.7% (an increase compared to the 2023 survey) of employees believe that formal education represents an excellent opportunity for personal growth and development.

• More than two-thirds of employees believe online study offers greater flexibility and is therefore more attractive. Key advantages of online study include: increased flexibility, convenience, better schedule coordination, and no commuting.

• Tuition fees and favourable payment terms are important factors in the decision to continue studying.

• The majority of respondents highlighted the following as the main reasons for pursuing further studies: relevant programmes, modern delivery, and the flexibility of online study.
