How does online learning work? Is the diploma recognised at home and abroad? Do I meet enrolment requirements? These are just a few of the most frequently asked questions that students have before enrolment. We have prepared the answers that you need.

How does online learning work?

Online learning takes place in a learning environment that you access with your username that you receive at the time of enrolment. Initial training is organised once you start your studies. You study independently of your location and are also able to allocate your time for studying yourself. Online learning is very organised and planned. You receive detailed instructions for each course, which guide you through what you need to do, which materials to use, the scope of the assignments, and their due dates. It is important to meet the deadlines for the submission of the assignments, as this is of key importance for your success.

You are not alone in online learning. You will be in constant contact with the school’s associates – teachers, online tutors, academic advisors, the IT department, and expert associates in the Student Affairs Office. 

 

Is a diploma from DOBA Business School recognised?

All study programmes implemented by DOBA Business School have been accredited by the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. When you graduate, you receive an officially recognised diploma that enables you to continue your studies, and, of course, to get promoted or find employment in national and international companies.We have two international accreditations. The UNIQUe international accreditation and the EOCCS international certification confirm that online learning at our school follows the highest international standards.

DOBA Business School has more than 4,400 graduates from 45 countries across the globe who work in various companies and organisations. As much as 64% of graduates get promoted after receiving their diploma.
 

Which programmes does the school offer in English?

DOBA Business School offers nine study programmes from the fields of management, marketing, tourism, social services, etc. Every year, we enrol more than a thousand students. In 2020, we are offering two study programmes in English, i.e.

What about enrolment requirements?

In order to enrol in a master’s programme, you need to have completed at least a bachelor programme.
In order to enrol in the doctoral programme, you need to have completed at least a master’s programme.

As the studies are in English, at least a level B2 proficiency in English is required.
