Protective measures against the spread of the coronavirus

All pedagogical, research, and professional activities at DOBA Business School mainly continue to be implemented in full extent, as 90% of our pedagogical process is implemented online. We therefore do not implement activities that would include more than 100 people in lecture rooms.

In accordance with the communication by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia of 24 February 2020 and the directions of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the National Institute of Public Health, DOBA Business School has prepared the Plan for Ensuring Continuous Work and the Implementation of Study and Other Activities at DOBA. We will continually update our instructions in line with developments and directions provided by the competent institutions.

The following measures are being implemented in accordance with the Plan for Ensuring Continuous Work and the Implementation of Study and Other Activities at DOBA Business School:

  • All meetings and conventional exams at DOBA Business School and the Higher Vocational College, which would mean a gathering of more than 100 people, have been cancelled in line with the recommendations provided by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the National Institute of Public Health.
  • All students, participants, and employees who lived at or travelled to one of the high-risk areas in the last 14 days, who were in close contact with a person who has been confirmed to be infected, or a person who lived at or travelled to one of the high-risk areas in the last 14 days, must observe the mandatory 14-day absence from DOBA as a preventive measure.
  • Students, participants, and employees are advised against travelling to high-risk areas.
  • You are advised against receiving visitors from high-risk areas.

All DOBA expert associates, teaching and research staff, students, and participants have been informed of the Plan for Ensuring Continuous Work and the Implementation of Study and Other Activities at DOBA Business School.

How to prevent a coronavirus infection?

The same as with other infectious diseases that cause upper respiratory tract infections, the following daily precautionary measures should be observed in order to prevent infections with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus:

  • Avoid close contact with people who show signs of an infectious disease, keeping a distance of at least 1.5 metres.
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • If you fall ill, stay at home.
  • Observe the cough and sneeze etiquette.
  • Regularly wash your hands using soap and water.
  • If you do not have access to soap and water, use a hand sanitiser. The hand sanitiser should contain at least 60% alcohol. The hand sanitiser is for external use only. Cleaning and disinfection agents for surfaces are not appropriate for the cleaning and disinfection of skin.
  • In light of the current epidemiological situation, a general use of protective masks is not required.
  • At a time when respiratory infections are common amongst the population, avoid closed spaces with large numbers of people. Regularly ventilate closed spaces.
