Last meting of the EnDigiCom project

EnDigiCom is a cofounded ERASMUS+ KA 2 Strategic Partnership project which focuses on the improvement of digital skills within companies, mostly SMEs, and VET providers because the labour market is looking intensively for qualified personnel with digital competencies and the professional use of social media tools.

The project comes to an end this September. It has provided all the partners with researched curricular, that can be offered to a wide range of students (both full and part time) and can be delivered by a variety of methods. It has also contributed to exchange of best practices and was a valuable opportunity to straighten the cooperation among partners.

Predominant focus of the EnDigiCom project was an exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices with some mail outputs and outcomes, namely:

  • agreement on a robust set of international key competencies necessary to handle the daily duties of staff members having responsibility for Social Media tools and platforms within a workplace business environment;
  • further-development of existing material to a model curriculum against which available programmes and short courses can be reviewed/extended/modernised. This outcome was tested/trialled (through short-courses being offered) in two learning activities (3 day activity in Maribor, targeted for administrative staff and 3 day activity in Vienna, targeted for teachers).

The last meeting of the partner projects took place in Vienna at the end of August. The main objectives of the meeting were:

  • overview of all project working packages,
  • evaluation of the implementation of the project,
  • further usage of the project outcomes,
  • discussion about the impact of the project for all included partners,
  • preparation for the final report …

A meeting also served as a brainstorming for further cooperation and potential project.
