One of the key reasons students choose DOBA is our supportive online learning experience. Our online study model is designed for active participation, interaction and progress. Throughout the course, you work through structured activities such as discussions, online debates, blogs, simulations and live webinars. You collaborate with lecturers, mentors and fellow participants in a dynamic learning environment.
What makes the experience especially supportive is that you also receive personal mentoring support to help you stay on track, organise your work and remain motivated throughout the course.
Positive Psychology is more than a standalone course. It is part of DOBA’s master’s-level study environment and gives you a real insight into what it means to study at our institution.
After successful completion, you receive an officially recognised certificate worth 6 ECTS, and the course can be recognised upon enrolment in DOBA master’s programmes. The current free course page also states that Positive Psychology is recognised in all DOBA master’s programmes, which includes International Innovative Business Management.

Learn from Dr. Adela Černigoj, an experienced psychologist and researcher with an international academic background.
She holds a PhD in Health Psychology from Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and has been collaborating with DOBA since 2022. Her expertise spans well-being, stress management, social and cross-cultural psychology, bringing both academic depth and real-world relevance to the Positive Psychology course.
With Dr. Černigoj, you will gain insight into a field that connects personal well-being, resilience and performance in contemporary professional environments. Her research focuses on topics such as coping with stress, social and cultural identity, intercultural processes and the social determinants of health, making her an excellent guide for a course that helps students better understand both themselves and the environments in which they work.
Before the course begins, participants join an introductory online meeting, where they learn how the course is organised, which tools they will use, where to find the materials, how communication works and how to organise their study time. Orientation days follow before the course itself starts.
During the course, active participation and continuous work are expected. This is how participants gain the full value of the online learning experience and qualify for the certificate.
DOBA presents its online study model as one of the most thoughtfully designed and high-quality online learning models, with more than 2,000 online students from 46 countries studying each year. The institution also states that it is the first and only institution in Slovenia and South-East Europe with two international accreditations.
You are not just trying a free course — you are stepping into a proven, internationally oriented online study experience. Apply now.
