The GenESG project is an innovative European initiative that connects the fields of sustainable finance and artificial intelligence. The project addresses the pressing need to combine green and digital skills in higher education and is co-funded under the Erasmus+ programme.
The main objective of the project is to improve understanding of environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics through advanced teaching methods such as AI-supported microlearning. GenESG is therefore developing new educational tools, including chatbots, to support students in learning and assessing knowledge of sustainable practices in finance.
GenESG is aimed at higher education educators, education professionals and decision-makers at both national and European levels. The focus is on the responsible and safe use of artificial intelligence in higher education institutions and on promoting digital literacy in the field of ESG.
The second GenESG project newsletter highlights the project meeting in Sofia, the development of ESG learning modules, progress on the pilot AI chatbot to support learning, and the preparation of an immersive learning guide intended for higher education educators.
