Project FEM-Up Conclusion: When Women Take the Lead in Entrepreneurship and STEM

Today, we proudly conclude the Erasmus+ project FEM-Up, which we developed together with partners from six countries with a clear vision: to inspire and support young women in developing entrepreneurial and STEM skills, and to provide them with a space where they can grow their ideas, build self-confidence, and step onto the path of innovation.

What have we achieved?

Throughout the project, we accomplished a great deal – and even more than what is listed below:

  • We developed two content-rich learning modules in the fields of entrepreneurship and soft skills, consisting of eight learning units and 8 guest lectures.

  • The content was translated and implemented in six languages, ensuring wide accessibility across all partner countries.

  • We carried out training sessions and a mentoring program in six countries: Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Malta.

  • We organized the “Jobs of the Future” event featuring six female entrepreneurs as inspiring speakers.

  • We trained 18 trainers and mentors.

  • We established the FEM-Up Academy with 45 active participants, where women developed their ideas with the support of experienced mentors.

  • We delivered 18 events on women’s entrepreneurship, gender equality, and work–life balance, reaching approximately 440 participants.

  • Six finalists successfully pitched their ideas at the FEM-Up Your Idea – Final Event, attended by 112 visitors.

  • During the project, we published 24 articles and reached 6,705 website views.

  • We produced 4 e-newsletters to disseminate project results and strengthen the community.

  • We carried out 13 startup visits and 1 visit to a technology center, giving participants hands-on insight into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  • Across social media, we published 270 posts and achieved more than 128,000 views.

The FEM-Up project was much more than an educational initiative – it was a space for collaboration, support, and connection. Participants transformed ideas into concrete business concepts, gained new knowledge and confidence, and built relationships that will continue beyond the project’s end.

A sincere thank you to all participants, partners, and mentors for co-creating this remarkable story. FEM-Up may be coming to a close, but its impact is only just beginning.
