Our Teachers Are Rapidly Introducing Pedagogical Innovations

Teachers are increasingly connecting students with real-world challenges from partner organizations, inviting guest lecturers, creating original video content, and continuously updating teaching materials and methods.

Particularly outstanding are higher education teachers who introduce new approaches several times a year and share best practices with their colleagues — among them are mag. Natalie Postružnik, dr. Tina Vukasović, Mateja P. Kristanič, dr. Mateja Mahnič, and Nejc Kugler. Their courses include project work with organizations, round tables and panels with industry guests, updated and differentiated learning materials, as well as introductory and explanatory videos that make studying easier for students.

The most common pedagogical innovations in the past year have been:

  • collaboration with industry and project work with partners,
  • guest lecturers,
  • interactive webinars and workshops,
  • original video recordings (introductory and subject-specific),
  • updating and differentiating learning materials,
  • introduction of micro-learning units within courses,
  • use of tools for interaction and assessment of students’ knowledge in both individual and team work.

We are thanking all higher education teachers for their commitment and for sharing best practices.
