Launch of the SELF-ID Project: My Digital Self-Shaping Identity in the Digital Age

The international project SELF-ID: My Digital Self-Shaping Identity in the Digital Age has begun, aimed at supporting adolescents in shaping an authentic and confident identity in the digital environment. At the introductory (kick-off) meeting, project partners from Croatia, Italy and Austria came together to jointly develop modern approaches to strengthening digital literacy and critical thinking among young people.

As part of the project, an innovative gamified learning experience will be developed in the form of an 'escape room', alongside learning materials and interactive tools to help students better understand how the digital environment affects their self-image, relationships and identity. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing practical competences for responsible and safe behaviour online.

The project will offer adolescents support in addressing current challenges of the digital world, such as online violence (cyberbullying), the negative effects of a digital footprint, and other situations that young people often encounter in online environments.

With this new digital learning adventure, we want to provide young people with concrete knowledge and tools that they can use in everyday life – for a safer, more considered and more authentic presence in the digital age.
